As a state venture for collaborative mobile app development, Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) and Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) have joined hands in developing SACWICS mobile app, which will provide enhanced features to the DCFS field inspector/investigator to document data collected about states ward during field visits in a timely manner.
Current SACWICS desktop application is only available in the DCFS intranet. This was a handicap for the field inspectors and investigators from being able to update the case information in a real time to SACWICS.

MonoSoft Corp as a subcontractor to ISAC’s prime vendor lead this collobrative effort with ISAC and DCFS IT Department. We implemented Cross Platform Development approach for this application for future road map to enhance application in to both iOS and Android, these applications are available for employees through Mobile Device Management (MDM). Utilized Xamarin Forms as our development platform completed inital phase of this application. Provided Authentication and Authorization by integrating exisiting LDAP authentication of DCFS, utilized RESTFull services for data processing.
